YES you can make a movie in 48 hours! I know that now for sure, having just gone through the process with a cast and crew of 31 people, working very hard, on little to no sleep. The 48 Hour Film Project is an international competition in 120 cities with over 60,000 participants.

We were given a Genre, a Prop, Line, and Character to use in the film, and set off to GO at 7pm Friday July 12. Sunday July 14 at 6:45 pm I was racing (I did break a few speeding laws) to the turn in location to drop of our completed, edited, horror film of 6 minutes and 50 seconds (must be longer than 4 minutes and shorter than 7). All writing, shooting, editing and scoring must be completed in just 48 hours.
