Fun way to explore an area either close to home or for visitors. This three hour walking tour priced at $45 each took us to 6 different delightful restaurants and sweet shops.

Not too much walking in between each stop, probably a mile or two total walking.

My tour had 12 people, most with LivingSocial Coupons (paid $25 instead of $45) about 1/2 local and 1/2 out of towners. Our guide Samantha was very hospitable, kept the tour moving on schedule but never felt rushed, and was constantly smiling. She stopped and shared some La Jolla history along the way too.

Our gourmet tour of La Jolla stopped at:
Ohana Cafe, loved the coconut rice

Pizza on Pearl, served warm steaming marinara sauce to dip pizza and garlic bread into

Cups cupcakes, the peanut butter was to die for, gluten free and vegan choices too

Bardot, ice cream bars

Krafty Krepes, not just for dessert! Try the ham crepes too.

We Olive, organic varietal olive oil tastings (everything in the shop) and California wine tasting with a small ocean-view patio to enjoy tastes and small bites.

Happy touring, exploring, and tasting!
