The Beach House – Cardiff By The Sea NOW CLOSED

The VIEW is amazing!
The service and food are excellent!
The heat lamps crank out the heat on the patio!

Tip: Arrive before 6:30pm and you will be in time for sunset specials, and to catch the sunset. Most items on the Sunset Specials menu are $14.95 – fish, steak, seafood selections, AND the Maine lobster is just $19.95!! Affordable delicious lobster, tastier than at Red Lobster.  The bar has great happy hour specials too.

Cons: The decor is a bit dated and bathrooms could be cleaner. The parking situation is not ideal – you must valet as there really isn’t any parking nearby. Valet is not expensive $4.00, plus tip, but you must be trusting with your car in their hands.

Tip: Bring a good date or friend to dine with – someone who can appreciate a good meal, good conversation, and fantastic views. I did, and being in good company sure helps make for a good meal. The guy at the table next to us did not. His date was a downer. Complain, complain, complain. She ordered the lobster, had the opportunity to take in this amazing view and sunset, but yet it still wasn’t enough for her. Some people are never happy.

Did I mention amazing view?? My Dad and I, who came out to celebrate a special anniversary, did get blessed with a perfect clear evening, and our patio table was literally on the beach only a few rocks away from the sand!
