People watching is my favorite thing to do at street fairs where there are all kinds! This year, while people watching and beer tasting at the Adams Avenue Street Fair, I was in search of colorful things at the vendor booths.

Colorful things I found, and after the fourth craft beer things started to get even more colorful. Ballast Point, Pizza Port, Rough Draft, Stone, and Green Flash are few of the many craft breweries pouring at the event.

2013 is the 31st annual 2 day fair with over 90 musical acts on 7 stages, over 400 vendor booths with 100,000+ people attending – lots of people to watch!

Music of all genres to fill our ears, food stands to satisfy all appetites, and free to attend, but we bought San Diego Reader VIP tickets for just $25 dollars which included food and 5 beers! One of the largest fairs in California, it spans the San Diego neighborhoods of Kensington, Normal Heights, and University Heights. Saturday Sept 28 10-10 and Sunday 10-7
